“From proposal to final manuscript, Lynette was a pleasure to work with—she's that rare, one-in-a-million mix of creativity, thoughtfulness, insight, and discipline. In every sense of the word, Lynette's a professional.”

—Chris St. Hilaire

Author, "27 Powers of Persuasion"

After publishing 20 books, most with Big Five publishing houses, I've developed not only a strategy for successful ghostwriting but also a credo: this process should be rewarding for YOU. Even if we dive into some dark or challenging places, my goal is that you'll look forward to our interviews, enjoy our conversations, and then just sit back (or return to your busy life) and wait for each enticing chapter to arrive in your inbox.

I've collaborated with experts from the fields of business, entertainment, motivational speaking, psychology, parenting, the law, and more. My books have been published by Random House, Scribner, Harper, Penguin, Prentice Hall, and Algonquin Books, among others. Some have been New York Times or national bestsellers, some have won or been nominated for awards, and all have been favorably reviewed. Many have been translated into multiple languages. Before setting up shop as a writer and collaborator, I was Managing Editor at Jeremy P. Tarcher, Inc. and Executive Editor at Knightsbridge Publishing Company.

I specialize in conceptualizing nonfiction books: taking the raw material of your work, your life, or both and shaping it into an irresistible narrative. If you plan on seeking an agent, I'll write a stellar book proposal. Whether you're self-publishing or going the traditional route with an established house, we'll work together to create a manuscript that brings your story beautifully to life, in your voice.

The ghostwriting/collaboration process is customized to your needs. I can interview you and write from the transcribed interviews—it's an extremely effective way to capture your voice and ideas. You can provide me with source materials and the names of people to interview and I can use those to create your manuscript. Or maybe you prefer a more hands-on approach to the writing. How we go about it depends on what's most comfortable for you, your timeline, and your goals.

"It’s always a pleasure to read and edit a manuscript which you know from the very start is going to be well written, superbly organized, and really informative. . . . take some time to feel really good about the book—as I said, it is so rare to get something that is this polished and this well done. Thank you!”
