Overview
Developmental Editor: develops fiction, nursing/medical, memoir, business, and ESL materials
Workshop Leader: develops, promotes, and leads writing workshops in Lansdowne and Wallingford, PA
Writing Coach: coaches writers to complete projects and continue with their publications goals
I have worked in-house for McGraw-Hill, Elsevier, and Wolters Kluwer Health. In 2004, I began freelancing and have enjoyed the variety of projects I've accepted as well as meeting a range of interesting authors. Some of my most interesting projects have included writing fictionalized memoirs for authors unable to write their own. These have involved research and interviews.
If you contact me to write your story, you'll find that I am friendly, responsive, and professional. After determining that your project is a good fit for my skills and interests, I will create a contract, then move forward with the work.

I began writing fiction in 1991 and shortly thereafter began winning awards for my short stories and novels. Following graduation from the University of Iowa's Undergraduate Writers' Workshop in 1997, I began working in-house for publishers, McGraw-Hill, Elsevier, and Wolters Kluwer Health. In 2004, I launched my freelance career, specializing in fiction, medical/nursing, and ESL materials. In addition, I began teaching writing courses. Currently, I lead the Lansdowne Writers' Workshop, as well as another workshop in Wallingford/Swarthmore. I ghostwrite case studies for textbooks, individual's life stories, and other materials. I rewrite ESL materials for clarity. I also develop fiction, academic textbooks, and case studies.
