Overview

With an MFA in Writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts and over seven years of professional editorial experience, I understand both sides of the storytelling process: writing and editing. Writing is like jamming out, seeing where the music takes you, but editing is like sculpting, honing the material to unearth the beating heart of your story.

Having worked with best-selling authors like Suzanne Young, Virna DePaul, Megan Crewe, and Mira Lyn Kelly, I have extensive experience editing for both traditionally published and independently published writers across the romance, science fiction, fantasy, and nonfiction genres.

Inviting an editor into your own private world of writing can be scary to say the least, which is why my focus is always on providing both substantive praise and criticism while upholding style and voice. I also like to remind my clients that, regardless of how many notes I give, you can accept or reject as many of them as you like. Your manuscript will always be your manuscript. Nothing will ever change that.

At the end of the day, my goal is to provide authors with experienced, fast, affordable editing services. Happy writing!

Kenneth is an invaluable contributor to my manuscript. Hire him, if you can. He validated a lot of what I hoped was good about my manuscript and pointed out a lot of flaws I did not notice. Kenneth is the perfect blend of positive and constructive comments. It is good to hear what you are doing right so that you can make sure you keep doing those things well, and it is also so very important t...

Kenneth was a true professional in every sense of the word. I found his advice very helpful, and logical, and he polished my work to a higher a level. His communication and updates on his progress were on point throughout the process. He edited ten stories of my series, and I plan to use him again for the remaining fifteen.

Working with Kenneth on my developmental edit of my novel was a delight. Not only was he timely and responsive, he provided a thoroughly involved critique and assessment of my book thus far. He was very helpful with his negative feedback and provided positive feedback, which I found to be equally helpful. He was very accommodating towards my timeline and the input he provided towards furtherin...

Kenneth delivered exactly what I'd hoped for: a clear and concise description of my strengths and where I needed to consider making major and minor changes. He used examples of other books/movies that I am familiar with and how these illustrated what he was describing. I couldn't wait to begin making my edits and changes to the elements Kenneth pointed to. With his expertise, I hope to have m...
