Overview
As a freelance publishing professional, my writing, editing, proofreading and project management skills have helped to produce high-quality books for publishers in the UK and US, such as Lonely Planet Kids, Igloo, Franklin Watts, Wayland, Raintree, Cavendish Square and Quarto. I have written over 100 children's non-fiction titles and edited more than 300, covering a variety of topics from art and astronomy, history and health to criminology, current affairs, energy and the environment. I have a meticulous eye for detail, am a stickler for deadlines and strive to ensure factual accuracy and clarity, while also maintaining a sense of fun to keep texts lively and engaging.
