Kat Brzozowski – Editor

I’m a senior editor at Feiwel & Friends at Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, where I’ve worked since 2016 following seven years at St. Martin’s Press.

I currently edit a wide range of genres, from picture books to middle grade to young adult novels, with the occasional adult novel in the mix. You name it, I’ve edited it in my 16+ years of publishing - memoirs, mysteries, women’s fiction, and everything in between. I've worked on New York Times-bestsellers, major award winners, and critical darlings, but my specialty is fiction for children and teens.

I’m a collaborative, curious editor who excels at meeting authors where they are. I see my job as asking the right questions to guide authors to the solutions that will work for their book. I've worked with authors at every point of the publishing process, from people who had an idea that they needed help shaping to writers with a finished manuscript that needed an extra polish.
