Kasie Lien – Designer

Hello!

I am an Illustrator/Designer with 3+ years of experience illustrating for a variety of clients, including Abeka Book, LLC, Salvation Poem Foundation, Inc., and Majesty Music, Inc., as well as several independent authors. I have an excellent work ethic and good communication skills and love working with my clients on finding creative ways to bring their ideas to life. I can illustrate a variety of subjects including people (varying in age and ethnicity), animal characters, props, and backgrounds, as well as dynamic scenes combining all of the above. I work primarily in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and InDesign. While my workflow involves pulling inspiration from my favorite illustrators and visual development artists, I never use generative ai in my work.

While I am working on a book, I am usually listening to inspiring music and drinking coffee! I enjoy illustrating scenes where something is happening, and adding details and quirks that bring it to life. Clients can expect to see each stage of the process from thumbnail sketches to final rendering and give feedback where necessary to their satisfaction.
