Hi, I'm Julie! 👋 My first love is typography, which has naturally led me to the world of book covers and interior layouts.

I've been a graphic designer for 15+ years and currently design nonfiction books, study guides, cookbooks, and instructional materials for a small nonprofit publisher, as well as through my own studio.

I love taking complex information and making it clear and engaging (so bring on the long-form text, infographics, charts, etc.). I work quickly, pay close attention to detail, and take pride in delivering clean, thoughtful design.

My goal is to make the design process feel straightforward and stress-free. I'll do my best to guide you through each step, communicate clearly, and make sure you always know what’s happening and what comes next.

• A reflowable .epub file (for Kindle, Apple Books, etc.)

*Final pricing depends on complexity, length, and other factors.

⌁ MY PROCESS ⌁

Cover Design:

• We’ll start by talking about your book, your audience, and the overall feel you want the cover to communicate.

• From there, I’ll develop several cover concepts within about 10 business days.

• Once you’ve chosen a direction, we’ll refine it together through feedback and revisions until it feels right.

• After approval, I’ll finalize the full cover design (front, back, and spine) and prepare your print-ready files along with promotional mockups.

Interior Formatting:

• Once your manuscript is fully edited and ready for layout, I’ll begin formatting the interior.

• I’ll start with a sample section so you can see the style and flow before I format the full book.

• After approval, I’ll complete the full interior layout. Depending on length and complexity, this typically takes around 10 business days or more.

• You’ll then review the complete layout for final adjustments, including any lingering typos or formatting refinements.

• Once everything is approved, I’ll prepare your final print-ready files.

eBook Conversion:

• Once the print layout is finalized, I’ll convert it into a reflowable EPUB file for Kindle, Apple Books, and other ebook platforms.

• This usually takes about 5 business days after final approval of the print version.
