Francisco Valle – Designer

I'm an illustrator with an animation and fine arts background working from sunny Lisbon. Passionate about bringing stories to life, I like to draw in a lively anime-inpired style with intricate detail and fantasy flourishes.

I have over a decade of experience in digital illustration and a diverse portfolio that spans a variety of styles - from anime-styled videogame designs to animated music videos and editorial illustration from children to young-adults. Book illustration has a special place in my heart, having drawn for works such as the children's book "Rainha da Neve", the award-winning graphic novel "O Crocodilo e o Extraordinário Acontecimento Irrelevante" - which I also co-created and designed - and the Infinity sci-fi board game's artbook.

My goal is to find the best approach for each client so that every book feels unique and captivating. I'm always excited to take on ambitious projects and helping bring them to a new dimension through drawing. Having worked with clients across the globe, communication and staying in sync with the author are my priorities: as a perfectionist, there is no better feeling than handing someone an illustration they're truly happy with and seeing it resonate with the audience.
