Edward Brown – Designer

Ed J Brown is an illustrator from a small town in the middle of Britain. He's often inspired by folklore, analogue print media and making mistakes.

Ed has worked as a designer and illustrator for almost 15 years, collaborating on various projects, including editorial, children's books, B2B and branding. He specialises in page design, typography, writing, editing and of course, illustration.

Ed has illustrated for newspapers, children's magazines and lifestyle publications since 2012, counting the Guardian, Readers Digest, Easy Jet, Brussels Air, Tabasco, Aquila kids mag and Die Zeit among the list of his clients. In 2022 Ed's first book "Epic Animal Journeys" was released, a non-fiction book about animal migration for ages 8-12, followed by two more books in 2024 : "At the Top of the World, The Greatest Mountains on Earth and how to climb them." and "Open Wide".

New for 2026: "The Hospital for Mythological Creatures" will educate and entertain kids aged 6-10 on the inner workings of a modern day hospital.
