I am an illustrator with a keen eye for stunning design and a passion for visualising the written word.
With an emphasis on drawing and creating by hand, my artwork tends to take on it's own unique character and aesthetic. I really enjoy the process of working with authors, because their work is already a rich tapestry of visual story telling. From the initial consultation to the final delivery, I take the utmost care in listening to and achieving the goals that each author has set out for their cover design.
In the summer of 2013 I received the Gold Star award from The Book Cover Designer for my work on the cover for The Butterfly Collector by Adam Dickson.
As well as books, I also work within the music industry, producing concert posters and merchandise for touring bands and promoters across Europe. I have worked closely an arts and music festival in Norway that showcases visuals and moving image with live music. My other passions include print-making, pyrography (wood burning) and playing the drums.

Throughout this 5 year period I provided freelance work with VIVID, a music and visuals arts festival in Southern Norway. After two years of delivering bespoke graphic design, high quality posters and promotional video content I was invited to join the festival as lead Graphic Designer in 2017.
For the following three years I helped rebrand the festival, expand it's merchandise store and reach a wider audience through successful social media campaigns.
