The cries seemed so surreal that I almost thought they were automated. There was no way a real human could be making that sound. Tears dripped down my face as my forehead scrunched so much that my years of retinol and moisturizer were thrown out the window. I’m a wrinkly-foreheaded mom now. But I’m okay with it.
