The girls are really very lovely, but for the life of me I don’t know why they’re here. I was just dozing off here in my recliner chair, so it confused me a bit when I woke up and saw them all standing around me like they’re expecting something. They’re here to see me? Maybe he knows why these girls are here. “You’ve got visitors,” he says. He smiles at me. Really great guy...
Hiding underneath my driver’s rain poncho, I can’t see anything but the road directly beneath me, so it comes unexpectedly when we are suddenly driving through a veritable river in the road, the tires splashing muddy rain water all over my feet and legs. The billboards provided some entertainment at least, for being so com...

If anyone walked by the car and happened to glance in, hopefully all they would see is her body slumped over the wheel as though she was taking a nap. Probably they wouldn’t notice the way she grasped it for support while she shook with sobs. They wouldn’t be able to hear her howling and gasping for breath like a two year old throwing a temper tantrum, nor would they see the way her eyelashes had clumped together into choppy sections as the tears liquefied her mascara, sticking together rather than running down her face in long dramatic blac...
