It was a crisp and late October evening in Arvada, Colorado, and the town's annual Halloween festivities were in full swing. The scent of caramel apples and popcorn wafted through the air, mingling with the laughter and screams from the nearby haunted house attraction. The most infamous of these was the Clown House, which was part of the Frightmare Compound, a house filled with terrifying clowns and spine-chilling surprises.
