Emily I focus on the gentle swish of the page turning instead of their voices. I can hear the edge in her voice but I’m not paying attention to what they’re saying. She liked the spring flowers the most – tulips, daffodils, bluebells. She didn’t find those too often. There were an abundance of roses and lilies, typical flowers for the dead.
