I knew that stupid lamp was dangerous from the moment I laid eyes on it. Its pink frilly lampshade was a complete eyesore, its old flawed switch that barely even worked anymore, annoyed me to know end and those damn wires that stuck out the back.. good lord I wish I'd gotten rid of it the moment it was placed in our bedroom. "It was my mother's Charlie" whined my wife as she dusted our new home, as if that statement alone explained why the old lamp wasn't in a recycling bin somewhere. "And?" I had asked sourly as I stared at the monstrosi...
Staring down at the two pearly white boxes she knew she had a tough decision to make. "Anna" called out Isabelle distracting the girl for a moment, Isabelle Anna's best friend since Kindergarten was as jolly as any young teenage girl should be. Although Anna wasn't as carefree as Isabelle was, she sure felt as carefree and as pure as a bird when she pirouetted gently across the ballet stage. "Hurry up and choose a pair Anna! we are going to be late for dance practice" Isabelle shouted over to Anna as she traced her fingertips...
