I have a decade of experience writing and editing stories for some of Canada’s top publications, such as The Canadian Press and Toronto Life magazine. I particularly enjoyed copy-editing content for the Toronto Star and The Globe and Mail—Canada's two largest daily newspapers. I'm equally adept at editing biographies/ memoirs and stories on self-help, well-being and life. I love non-fiction that sparks a conversation or shapes my thinking and approach to life. Hence, I bring unique expertise to my work as a copy editor.
As an experienced journalist, I've interviewed McClelland & Stewart’s former publisher Douglas Gibson and many bestselling and award-winning Canadian authors, such as Lawrence Hill, Chris Turner, Kevin Chong, Linden MacIntyre, Katrina Onstad, Don Gillmor, Trevor Cole, Timothy Taylor, Roy MacGregor and others.
I hold a Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly known as Ryerson), where I was editor-in-chief of McClung’s—a women’s issues magazine. In many of my previous jobs, I was often the final editor to review and refine content before publication. Over the last four years, I edited nearly 10,000 stories. I’ve worked as a copy editor since 2017. I'm well-versed in various style guides.

INNOCEAN is a global advertising agency with offices in 16 countries. I manage the day-to-day copy-editing and proofreading process for our main clients, serving as the content lead for 15-30 projects every week. I edit marketing materials to improve clarity and readability, ensuring all content follows brand and style guidelines.
Torstar Corporation
Torstar is the parent company of the Toronto Star—Canada's largest daily newspaper. Over the last four years, I edited nearly 10,000 stories for all sections of some 80 newspapers. I worked closely with other editors and writers, providing constructive feedback to elevate their work. I also ensured all content adhered to our in-house style guide and high editorial standards.

The Globe and Mail is Canada’s newspaper of record. I edited stories or columns on architecture, design and life. I also enjoyed working on the "Lives Lived" section.
Toronto Life magazine
Toronto Life is an award-winning monthly magazine. Since 1966, it has won more than 100 gold awards at the Canadian National Magazine Awards. I wrote stories on design, art and life.

Founded in 1989, Post City is a Toronto-based publisher of seven monthly magazines. I penned a column on architecture and design.
