Brian Thompson – Designer

My name is Brian and I am an illustrator, art director, concept artist and writer with over 25 years of professional experience. I pride myself on helping clients realize their projects through diligent attention to goals, dynamic sketching and ideation, rapid color exploration and richly finished final artwork. I enjoy working from the text (brief summaries or full manuscripts are great) to bring the work to life in unexpected and imaginative ways. My work is hand-crafted and aims to transport the viewer while capturing moments of dynamic action and as well as stillness and sometimes haunting beauty.

My work includes covers and interiors for HarperCollins, Penguin Random House, and Simon & Schuster. I’ve also done Illustration for World of Warcraft TCG and Wired Magazine. I’d love to work with you on your next project big or small. I hope you enjoy exploring my work.
