Anna Mur – Designer

Hi, I'm Anna (she/her), a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Helsinki, with over a decade of experience creating impactful visuals.

My illustration style is graphic and detail-oriented — I love translating complex concepts into clear, beautiful imagery, and I have a particular fondness for building characters and the worlds around them. My background in graphic design means I understand how illustration lives alongside typography on the page, and I keep a close eye on cover trends and the visual language of contemporary publishing.

I believe in building strong, collaborative relationships with clients — I like to understand the vision deeply before offering creative solutions, and I'm comfortable working within large, multi-team projects as much as one-on-one with an author.

I'm also an avid reader and book club host, so I come to publishing projects with real enthusiasm for the craft — I care about books, not just the brief.
