Angela Wix – Editor

As an acquiring editor in mind-body-spirit publishing for Llewellyn Worldwide and Sounds True, I’ve worked on more than 200 books over the past 15 years and have extensive knowledge in subjects on personal development, psychology, transformation, spirituality, holistic wellness, neurodiversity, and more! My specialty lies in prescriptive non-fiction and over the years I’ve assisted authors in refreshing past material for updated editions, created new series collections, worked with established authors, and helped launch new voices. Some of these authors include Eckhart Tolle, Dr. Stephen Porges, Amy B. Scher, Cyndi Dale, and Anodea Judith. My passion for and experience in books also extends to fiction titles for middle grade and teen readers, and my career actually began as a designer and editorial support for children’s books at Finney Company (Ecopress and Windward Publishing Imprints) and Raven Tree Press.

As an author myself, I offer valuable and unique understanding of the proposal and book development process from both the publisher’s and the author’s perspectives, to the benefit of both! I know what publishers are looking for when it comes to problem solving a manuscript and my favorite part of the publishing process is developmental editing. I love to take a deep dive into a book's content and am very detailed in my review and feedback.
