COSTS

I charge $70 per hour for the time I spend EDITING your script or completed pages. However, ALL consultation during the project is free. That means that while we are working together, I do NOT charge you for time spent on phone consults, Zoom, or email exchanges.

EDUCATION and BACKGROUND

Thank you for considering me as your editor. In the interest of time, I will list my qualifications briefly: 1) B.A. in Journalism; 2) Ph.D. in Ancient Literature (focus on myth and folklore); 3) 12.5 years teaching literature at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; and 4) author of eight books (all acquired by publishers), including a prose novel and five graphic novels.

FORMAL EDITORIAL EXPERIENCE

From 2020-2025, I served as editorial director for Scout Comics, supervising four editors and personally editing more than 180 titles. From 2016 to 2020, I served as submissions editor/ project editor for Caliber Comics, editing 40+ graphic novels. Additionally, I have served as an editor for the Spanish publisher, Amigo Comics (Málaga, Spain) and freelanced for Action Lab, Sumerian, Antarctic Press, Magma Comix, and the Canadian publisher Lev Gleason's New Friday Comics.

SCOUT COMICS and ENTERTAINMENT

• Supervise a team of editors; • Served as editor/project manager for 160+ (and counting) different book projects, assisting them with copy editing, proofreading, etc.

CALIBER ENTERTAINMENT
