Welcome to my page!

I am an adjunct English Instructor who has taught fundamental writing and grammar skills, English composition, and business writing courses. I also have a background in journalism and publishing.

I enjoy reading literary non-fiction, short stories, and historical fiction in my free time. In graduate school, I studied a wide range of literature from British Victorian literature, to transnational literature. I enjoy research, and I can tackle large or small projects. I have been a freelance copyeditor and proofreader for the last fifteen years.

I work with writers to help them share their unique voice within error free copy. I am a detail oriented copy editor and proofreader, and I encourage writers to share their best writing. Working with students in the classroom has taught me a great deal of patience. I have developed the skills needed for providing honest yet kind and respectful feedback.
