Alison Howard

Alison Howard – Editor

A meticulous copy editor and proofreader with 19 years' experience helping writers and publishers create top quality, readable books.

Like the Three Little Bears, I've worked at tiny publishers, medium-sized publishers and even led editorial teams at one of the biggest: Oxford University Press. I now live in Cornwall, providing freelance editorial services to self-publishers, publishing houses, first-time and published authors.

I co-tutor a children's writing course, appraise manuscripts and also speak and write German.

I've worked across most genres but my favourites are Children's (Fiction and Non), History,
Nutrition, Lifestyle, Religion and Philosophy.
