Alicia McFadzean – Designer

Hello! My name is Alicia. I've had the pleasure of working in the publishing space for many years creating book cover artwork, hand lettered designs, merchandise and branding for authors and bookish businesses.

My work is highly stylised and ornate - the more detail the better! My approach to each project is very thorough - I like to read the book back to front before creating any associated artwork so I have a thorough understanding of the story and all its little details and nuances. I also like to spend a lot of time during the sketching process to come up with various compositions and layouts, so we can ensure all bases are covered.

I create all of my lettering from scratch - this will ensure that the title is an excellent match for your story and will always be 100% unique.

I primarily work across the following genres: romantasy, fantasy, gothic fiction, horror and select contemporary romance.
