Abbie Greaves – Editor

Experienced editor of commercial fiction. Formerly Curtis Brown, UK. Novelist published by Penguin (UK) + HarperCollins (US) + 12 languages.

Overview

Looking for an editor with the insight, industry-experience and empathy to make your book the very best that it can be?

If so, you’re in the right place.

I’m both a published novelist and an editor with 10+ years of publishing experience who honed my skills by talent-spotting for Curtis Brown, one of the UK’s largest literary agencies. I’ve been on ‘both sides of the fence’ and now love nothing more than to use this unique perspective to help writers achieve their dreams, whether that's agent representation or seeing the project they've dedicated years to on bookshelves around the world.

I specialise in commercial and book-club fiction (romance, women’s fiction, crime/thriller, contemporary, historical) and I’m available for:

- Editorial Assessments

- Developmental Editing

- Line-Editing

- Query-Package Assistance

- Book Coaching

I describe my approach as perceptive, detail-orientated and solution-focussed, marrying professionalism with a deeply personable approach.

Please be in touch with any and all questions you have; I'm happy to work at all stages of the process and also offer a free fifteen minute call during quotation so you can see whether you feel we would be a good match.

I look forward to hearing from you and very much hope to collaborate soon!
