I’m both an editor (with skills honed at the major literary agency Curtis Brown UK), and a critically-acclaimed novelist (with an extensive creative-writing teaching portfolio to boot). In the last decade, I've been on ‘both sides of the fence’ and now I love nothing more than to use this unique perspective to help writers achieve their dreams, whether that's agent representation or seeing the project they've dedicated years to on shelves around the world.

A detailed report on the key building blocks of a novel: character; plot/pacing; structure; theme; marketability; plus whatever specific areas of concern you may have.

As above, plus a Tracked Changes mark-up of the manuscript to show how I'm responding to the text in real-time, as well as comments on stylistic elements/line-by-line tweaks.

***Line-Editing***

A sentence level review to improve style, flow and clarity of a manuscript.

***Query-Package Assistance****

Review of your query letter/s, synopses and opening chapters. Advice on hooks, blurbs and tips to help stand out on the submissions pile.

***Book Coaching***

Individual or block-booked sessions, tailored to the writer and their current stumbling block/s. Written and verbal feedback on your outline, chapter breakdown or partial manuscript.
