Abbie Greaves

Abbie Greaves – Editor

Author-editor of commercial fiction: worked at Curtis Brown Agency; published by Penguin UK/HarperCollins US; creative writing tutor/mentor.

Overview

**BOOKING FOR AUTUMN 26 AND JAN 27**

Looking for an editor with the industry-experience, insight and empathy to make your book the very best that it can be?

If so, you’re in the right place.

I’m both an editor (with skills honed at the major literary agency Curtis Brown UK), and a critically-acclaimed novelist (with an extensive creative-writing teaching portfolio to boot). In the last decade, I've been on ‘both sides of the fence’, evaluated hundreds of books from first-time novelists to bestselling brand authors, and now I love nothing more than to use this unique perspective to help writers achieve their dreams, whether that's agent representation or seeing their book on shelves around the world.

I specialise in commercial and book club fiction (romance, women’s fiction, crime/thriller, contemporary, historical) and I’m available for:

- Editorial Assessment

- Developmental Editing

- Line-Editing

- Query-Package Assistance

- Book Coaching

Whether I'm casting an experienced eye over your manuscript or polishing your query package until it shines, my approach is detail-orientated, commercially-minded and solution-focussed, marrying professionalism with a deeply personable approach. All my services include the option of a call, to ensure my support leaves you with a clear and confident roadmap forwards.

Please be in touch with any and all questions you have; I'm happy to work at all stages of the process and also offer a free fifteen minute conversation during quotation so you can see whether we would be a good match.

I look forward to hearing from you and very much hope to collaborate soon!
