Overview
THERESA has always been drawn to stories driven by heart—fantasy realms full of danger and destiny, paranormal romances steeped in longing, and character‑rich tales where love is as transformative as magic. Drawn to the blend of magic, danger, and deep emotional connection, she found herself most at home in stories where love and the supernatural intertwine. Romantasy and paranormal romance quickly became her favorite genres, and she’s spent her life devouring stories filled with powerful heroines, compelling love interests, and richly built worlds.
After decades as an avid reader, Theresa made the natural transition into publishing and has worked in the industry since 2009. She has held roles with respected midlist and small presses, including Editor and Managing Editor for Entangled Publishing, and most recently as Acquiring Editor for City Owl Press and Mystic Owl and Senior Copy Editor for Mystic Owl. Across her career, she has edited award‑winning authors and a wide range of romance subgenres, including paranormal, fantasy, science‑fiction romance, urban fantasy, contemporary, and magical realism. She welcomes all heat levels and pairings and is especially passionate about stories with rich worldbuilding, compelling character arcs, and emotional payoff.
Her editorial process blends content and copy editing into a single, cohesive pass, strengthening story structure, character arcs, pacing, clarity, and line‑level craft all at once. This holistic approach gives authors a more intuitive revision experience, reduces the need for multiple rounds, and results in a manuscript that feels stronger on every level.
Theresa still resides in Michigan’s tip of the mitt, where she was born and raised. Wife to the best husband ever and mom to five fab men, she loves Michigan summers, cozy fall days, and any excuse to curl up with a hot coffee and a beautifully crafted love story.

“Finding a good editor, one that gets you and your story, one with the knowledge and training to help make your book the best it can be, is often a daunting task. I was fortunate enough to find Theresa via a recommendation, and the end result is something I’m very proud of. I’ve worked with Theresa on two occasions and would recommend her to anyone who takes their writing seriously enough to do what needs to be done to make it top notch. Besides being an utmost professional, Theresa is friendly and a ton of fun to work with, which helps to make the rocky road of publishing a little smoother." ~Elle J. Rossi, Author
"I have used Theresa's services for many books. She is a pleasure to work with, efficient, professional, and organized. I'm very happy with her services and would highly recommend her--as a matter of fact, I have!" ~Cathryn Fox, NYT and USA Today bestselling author
