Stephanie Hannus

Stephanie Hannus – Designer

From YA to romance, from self-help to science, I've been designing books for over a decade. Of course I judge books by their covers!

Overview

Thanks for taking a look at my work. I'm a graphic designer with over 10 years of experience in publishing, most recently for the Adams Media division of Simon & Schuster. Notable projects include the latest Alice Hoffman book, Faerie Knitting, and Bushcraft 101, a New York Times Bestseller in Sports and Travel.

I believe in the power of teamwork and love collaborating to achieve the best result. I look forward to creating the best visual representation of your words!

I chose Stephanie based on Reedsy reviews, so thank you, Reedsy authors, for leaving those helpful reviews! Stephanie was professional, prompt, and eternally patient while I navigated the steep learning curve of cover design. When I had questions about color or printing, Stephanie answered them thoroughly. She took a genuine interest in my book's content and was collaborative in every sense o...

Stephanie was really awesome! She was a pleasure to work with. Stephanie was timely and she made the process easy with little stress. The cost for the job was very reasonable. She took this idea and made it into a wonderful cover design! I truly don't think anyone else could have done a better job. Everyone that has seen it loves it! Can't wait to show it to the world. Thanks Stephanie.

It was a pleasure to work with Stephanie! She asked for the pdf to read through the manuscript to get a feel for my "voice." Although I wasn't wowed with the first drafts, the second drafts were great, and we tweaked them from there. She happily provided different versions of the same cover (red and gray borders for the ebook) as well as creating an audiobook cover. We worked with two complete...

Stephanie is amazing. She did research before starting my book project in order to provide me with the best layout and design for my audience. Every step of the way, including "scope creep" and multiple revisions, she was encouraging, helpful and professional. I love the final project, and I highly recommend Stephanie.

Thank you Dawn! I'm so glad you love the final product. I loved working on such an interesting topic!
