Overview
Hello,
I'm a French Award-winning children's book illustrator who earned a distinction from ECV Art School in Paris before moving to London 15 years ago to study on a postgraduate creative course.
I'm fond of anything silly, funny, wacky, daft and colourful. Colours can make us feel wonderful inside. Ink & Watercolour is a wonderful technique, definitely my favourite, and I do love the playfulness of bold flat colours a digital illustration can offer.
Freelance illustrator & Art director, I've been working in London in publishing and advertising. The British Art Council awarded me a grant to illustrate a personal project during covid. My first picture book, Count the Sheep to Sleep, was published by Sky Pony Press. And my second book, Beb the Bad Easter Bunny featured in Barnes & Noble's Easter Octagon as one of their top picks. My third, Ode to a Pug, was made on Reedsy and is now selling on Barnes & Noble. I also illustrate educational and humorous picture books for an independent publishing house in London.
I'm now back in France living between Paris and Bordeaux; where the bright yellow light and the chatter of the cafés’ terraces enrich my work.
Would love to hear about your story, book or illustration project!
Au revoir,
Steph ☀️
