I am a freelance book editor who works with publishing companies and individuals as a developmental editor and copyeditor. I work with new and established authors in both fiction and nonfiction. I have helped authors shape their proposals before submitting to an agent. I've developmentally edited and copyedited books that were then independently published. I am also hired by publishing companies to do developmental, line, copyedits, and occasionally, proofreading. I have a wide spectrum of experience from fiction romance to financial books to memoirs.
I began as a production associate in 2004 with Thomas Nelson. After 18 months I moved over to Fiction Associate Editor. From there, every two years I was promoted, first to Fiction Editor, then Senior Editor, finally to Acquisition Editor.
