Thanks for clicking on my profile. So, who am I, and why should you work with me?

I am an editorial project manager at one of the largest educational publishers in the UK, specialising in humanities and social sciences. I spend my time working with authors on developing their books. I now do the same on a freelance basis for individuals looking to improve their manuscripts, articles and blog posts.

I offer development edits and rewrites for content at an early stage, focusing on the structure of your work and its intended audience, to make it the best it can be. This will also involve an assessment of the writing style – is it clear, and does it convey information effectively?

I also provide a more straightforward copyediting and proofreading service, looking at spelling, grammar and readability of text. I offer fast turnarounds and am happy to work to your deadlines. Communication is also very important to me and I like to provide regular updates on progress.
