Overview

I am a copyeditor, proofreader, and writer working primarily with Hachette Book Group and other private clients such as the University of Colorado. My areas of expertise include environmental studies, world cultures and anthropology, travel, history, music, and outdoor recreation. In my years with Hachette, I've edited books that received acclaim from outlets including the New York Times, Kirkus Reviews, and the Wall Street Journal.

My goal as an editor is to listen to my clients' needs and meet their expectations in a way that is creative, timely, efficient, and never mundane. I believe in the adage that the best editors "know everything about something and something about everything." In this spirit, I love to learn from my clients as we work to develop their writing.

I am also a longtime wilderness guide in Colorado's Rocky Mountains with extensive knowledge of freshwater ecology, fly fishing, and outdoor recreation in general. Spanish is my second language.
