Overview
I am an experienced book and identity designer with over 20 years of practice, committed to facilitating effective communication and ensuring top-notch graphic quality across all my projects. My career journey has provided me with a deep understanding of visual communication principles and the art of narrative through design. Rooted in Norway, my design approach is heavily influenced by Scandinavian aesthetics.
In addition to my extensive practical experience, my academic pursuits have further enriched my skill set. Holding a doctoral degree in Typography & Graphic Communication from the University of Reading in the UK, I have conducted thorough research on the verbal and visual presentation of health messages on food labels in a historical perspective.
While I am passionate about both design and research, I am certainly drawn to projects focused on high-quality book design. In this capacity, I am
particularly interested in crafting coffee table books related to art, food, photography and other visually captivating subjects. These projects allow me to indulge my love for storytelling through design while creating visually stunning pieces that captivate and inspire audiences.
