As an intern, my duties included reading and assessing queries (pitch, query, synopsis, and writing sample), requesting partial or full manuscripts for my review, declining manuscripts with personalized feedback, reading mentor's client's manuscript and offer editorial feedback. Wrote up reader reports and pitched it to my mentor on why it was a book to pursue/represent. Join author calls, ask questions, and write up Editor sub lists.
