We understand that life happens. Sometimes, due to unforeseen circumstances, you or your client cannot proceed together. If your client is outside the free cancelation window, but youโd like to help them cancel with no late fee (for example, a family or medical emergency prevents them from proceeding), please follow these steps:
- Submit an amendment that moves the start, completion, and all payment dates at least 2 months from now;
- Then, contact the author directly, and double-check that they accept the amendment; and
- Finally, ask your author to cancel from their side. They will now be within the free cancelation period. You can find more about our cancelation policy here.
