Award winning full-time editor and book coach with over three decades of experience with copy and content editing, as well as proofreading. A recognized and active author in speculative prose and poetry, I have worked for individuals, publishers, corporations, magazines, newspapers, and children's books as well as non-fiction. I am proficient in publishing using Reedsy or InDesign for layout.


I've coached writers from a wide variety of genres through the writing, publishing and promotion process. My goal is to help you and your work become the best possible. My promise is to offer you a quick response, and expert skills at competitive prices.


Note: I will be honest and if I think you need to do more work before hiring an editor, I'll tell you.


A multi-genre, published author, I'm familiar with the industry and can help you boost the visibility of your work. A member of HWA, SFPA, SFWA, and ALLi, I currently serve as a Trustee on the Horror Writer Association's Board of Directors. I've also instructed for two years in a row on writing at Crystal Lake Publishing/Entertainment.

Publishing an international speculative fiction publication. I do graphics, editing and layout work. Some content writing, selecting stories, managing staff, social media and promotion. Employed as the Editorial Assistant for a company that publishes two weekly newspapers, one monthly newspaper and a number of special publications such as The Newcomer Guide. Duties include gathering and producing copy, providing graphic art when necessary, covering and photographing local events and personalities, layout of “B” section of The Bay Beacon and editing all copy as well as generating new stories. Provided weekly articles and photographs for publication. Reported on war in Afghanistan/Iraq from the perspective of a military spouse that included interviews with military personnel and their families. Additional interviews included Joan Jett, John Nance, Amy Dacyczyn and Randy’l Teton as well as coverage of 9/11. I also conceptualized and wrote well received weekly column entitled SAHMM I AM (Stay At Home Military Mom) that focused on issues facing military spouses.
