Overview
Nice to meet you!
Growing up, my passion for reading was only second to my passion for making other people read the books I loved. Being a literary translator is therefore a dream come true as it allows me to be the link between the original text and new readers. As such, I take great care of respecting the original author's voice and make sure that the text feels fresh and natural to the French readership. My mission as a literary translator is to "disappear" so readers can forget they are reading a translation and fully immerse in the story.
With ten years of experience, I have worked on a wide variety of books ranging from epic urban fantasy (Marie Annette's The Guild Codex, C.N. Crawford's Dark Fae FBI) to historical (K.J. Charles) and contemporary romance (Rebecca Jenshak). I work both with publishing houses and self-published authors and am used to undertaking long series (up to 8 books or more). I have translated more than 70 books to date and pride myself on never missing a deadline.
As a fantasy expert, I'm used to translate complex elements of worldbuilding, be it magic systems, political castes or fae geography.
As a romance aficionado, I will make sure spicy scenes read just as intimate and steamy in French as in the original and will help your characters' chemistry go through the roof.
I am also an editor and I understand perfectly the importance of delivering an impeccable manuscript. You can be assured I will pay the utmost attention to grammar, spelling and punctuation so your novel will be able to shine. My books average 4.4 stars on Amazon and get hundreds of ratings.
Feel free to contact me, I'll be more than happy to discuss your project.
