Sara Piccinini – Translator

So many books, so little time! That's my favourite quote because I find it deeply true and accurate. I help authors and publishers to have their books in other languages so that they can reach out to as many readers as possible.

I have been working as a translator and proofreader since 2017, and my main focus in literary translation is on children and young adult genres. I have also worked for a travel agency in the translation of a few chapters of William Stadiem's book, Jet Set, on US aviation history.

My language combinations are English and Spanish to Italian, my native language.

After my Bachelor's degree in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation, awarded in 2017, I have also obtained a Master's degree in Specialized Translation. These qualifications along with the period spent in London, allowed me to significantly improve my professional and communication skills in translation.
