Robin Pridy

Robin Pridy – Editor

Editor for award-winning, bestselling books that have great things to say. I don't edit with AI, or take on AI-generated work.

Overview

I love my job – helping to turn original ideas and stories into books for readers to love and cherish. And with over twenty years' experience editing adult and children's books, I also feel proud of how far some of these titles can reach – from hitting the Oprah's 'Favorite Things' list to helping with bestsellers such as the 'Little People, Big Dreams' series and Caroline Quentin's 'Drawn to the Garden'.

In London (and in US/Canada/Europe, virtually), I work direct with well-known authors and publishers (such as Phaidon Kids, Ivy Kids, words & pictures, Wide Eyed Editions, Thames & Hudson and Frances Lincoln Children's Books). I also edit books that are yet to find a publisher, or which are going to be self-published.

Whether you are experienced or just starting out, writing an illustrated children's book or adult non-fiction (and all those areas in between!), I aim to bring your best possible work to the table.

I’ve found a true partner in Robin. Not only does she exceed every editing expectation, but she has a rare gift for deepening my stories with suggestions that feel as if they’ve come straight from my soul. How did she get in there? I’m not sure, but I do know that her talent is one few editors po...
