Overview
In 2018, I co-authored the book What Is the History of Emotions? (Polity Press), recently translated into several foreign languages, including Japanese.
I am bilingual and have been a freelance writer, editor, and translator since 2011.
I worked for academic publishers (e.gr., University of Toronto Press, Cambridge University Press, Yale University Press, Polity Press, Viella), scholars, and institutions, offering professional services in several areas, such as fact-checking, developmental editing, proofreading, indexing, in both English and Italian.
As a professional non-fiction translator:
• I will translate your book, journal article, dissertation, thesis, or any scientific or corporate document from English to Italian.
• Fields of study include - but are not limited to - Medieval History, Humanities & Social Sciences, Music, and Cinema.
• I can also translate documents from LATIN (for scholars working on ancient, medieval, and early modern history) or transcribe Latin texts from manuscripts.
• I can provide figure preparation and illustration services that save you time and make your work stand out.
• Fast and reliable, I'm a perfectionist.

University of Toronto Press
For the University of Toronto Press I worked as fact-checker, developmental editor, proofreader, and indexer on the last three editions of Barbara H. Rosenwein’s textbook, A Short History of the Middle Ages (4th ed. 2014, 5th ed. 2018, and 6th ed. 2022). The 5th edition won the Textbook Excellence Award in 2019. I performed the same services for Rosenwein's collection of primary sources, Reading the Middle Ages: Sources from Europe, Byzantium, and the Islamic World (2nd ed. 2014 and 3rd ed. 2018).
