Overview
I am a freelance translator and editor specializing in books, comics, and video games. I translate from English, French, and Spanish into Italian.
I have been working in this field since 2011 and hold a PhD in Comparative Literature (2013–2017) as well as a Master’s Degree in Screen Translation (subtitling, dubbing, and localization, 2017–2019).
Between 2017 and 2019, I worked as a translator and editor at a publishing house, followed by a brief experience as a localization tester at EA in Madrid (2019). These in-house roles were key to enhancing my teamwork abilities and gaining a comprehensive understanding of the production processes that bring books and video games to life—from initial drafts to final publication.
Since 2019, I have been a full-time freelance translator and editor, collaborating with various publishing houses and localization agencies. I am eclectic, and I like dealing with different genres.
