I'm a multilingual graphic designer and prepress specialist with over 20 years of book experience, focusing mainly on interior layouts.

Overview

I’ve been helping authors and publishers to realize their print publishing needs for over 20 years. I commit myself to ensuring my clients get a beautiful final product that they can be proud of, as well as ensuring the work is technically sound. My clients value my eye for detail, my efficiency and my drive to deliver projects before deadlines. They can also depend on me as a source for all of their technical design questions.


I have worked with a number of publishers over the years, including HarperCollins, Hudson Bible and Livingstone, as well as with various other independent authors and small publishers. Throughout my time with these clients, I’ve come to specialize on the interior layouts of map and travel titles, as well as novels, guide books, Bibles, text books and study books. Genres include Historical fiction, guides, non-fiction Christian and photography. But for any type of book, no matter how complicated, I’m able to take the project through all the various steps from concept design, to layout, to making it press ready.


I've also gained experienced in multilingual typesetting, which has allowed me to learn the typographic and punctuation rules for nearly all European languages such as Spanish, German or Russian, and East Asian languages like Chinese, Japanese and Korean. These are among the most popular languages that clients request for my services. Last, I have experience working in printing houses, and I can liaise with printers when I take projects to press. This includes both traditional printers and self publishers like CreateSpace or Lighting Source.
