I've been proofreading practically my whole life. Since 2019 I've focused on copy editing ebooks, specializing in historical fiction.

I. Love. Words. I have an excellent command of the English language as well as a background in Romance languages.

I have been proofreading before and throughout my corporate life but gravitated toward copyediting and line editing ebooks six years ago when I noticed the need to clean up the writing in ebooks. I have worked on over 24 books, including one that received a Book Excellence Award in Historical Fiction. I am comfortable working with English, dialects, Romance languages, and even some German. Most importantly, my language background helps me understand an author's voice - your voice - and I will work with you to perfect your writing.
