It seems I've been proofreading my whole life, and in 2019 I started proofreading and copyediting e-books, primarily historical fiction.

Overview

I love words! I have an excellent command of the English language as well as organizational and time-management skills. In my spare time, I love to practice my language skills by doing proofreading quizzes and crossword puzzles.

I have been proofreading throughout my corporate life but gravitated toward ebooks five years ago. Having studied languages, I am comfortable working with English, dialects, Romance languages, and even some German. Most importantly, my language background helps me understand an author's voice and, to paraphrase, "above all, do no harm". I only want to help make the writing better.
