In 2019 I began focusing on proofreading and copyediting ebooks. I have worked on over 15 books, specializing in historical fiction.

Overview

I. Love. Words. I have an excellent command of the English language as well as organizational and time-management skills. I love to practice my language skills by doing proofreading quizzes and crossword puzzles.

I have been proofreading throughout my corporate life but gravitated toward proofreading and copyediting ebooks five years ago after picking up my first ebook and noticing a definite need to clean up the writing. I have now worked on over 15 books, including one that received a Book Excellence Award. Having studied languages, I am comfortable working with English, dialects, Romance languages, and even some German. Most importantly, my language background helps me understand an author's voice and, to borrow a phrase, "above all, do no harm" - just make it better!
