Hi!
I'm Maitane, a children’s book illustrator and graphic designer based in northern Spain.
I began my career collaborating with the Ibaizabal publishing house, contributing to textbooks and children’s literature. My illustration style stands out for portraying little characters as brave and adventurous heroes, promoting friendship and bravery.
I truly love mixing colours and textures in digital media to stimulate the imagination of young readers.

I worked as a freelance illustrator and designer for Edelvives - Ibaizabal publishing collaborating in multiple textbooks, visuals, short books and several children's literature book.

I opened my own brand design and illustration studio back in 2020. During that time, I had the privilege to work closely with my clients evolving their brands with graphic design, editorial design, animations and illustrations.
