Overview
A writer for over four decades, I have created in all forms and many literature genres. Among my favorite projects are a play and documentary on Cahuilla elder Katherine Siva Saubel entitled We Are Still Here and the one-act play Windstorm about the work of Dr. Elisabeth Kubler Ross. Both of these pieces arose from lengthy oral histories and interviews of Dr. Saubel and Dr. Kubler Ross. I produced, directed, and wrote a documentary about Dr. Saubel as well.
My novels include The Women Debrowska that is loosely based on my Polish ancestry, Ouray’s Peak which follows the story of one matriarchal Ute Indian lineage, and the Metaphysical Mystery Stone Quest series that includes Desert Chimera, Gallows Ascending, and Neuri Shape-Shifter. Just published are Western Song by Solstice Publishing and The Season of the Neuri Knight in their Realms of the Fantastic Fantasy Anthology, Vol 2.
In addition, I was the lead teacher and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Developmental Skills at Glendale Community College where I helped adults and high school students earn either their GED or HS Diplomas. In addition to instruction in every subject with a concentration in English, I also designed and created curriculum.
