I specialize in non-fiction books with a particular interest in health and business and memoirs that focus on personal trauma. I like to work closely with writers, especially first-time authors, to ensure their vision becomes a reality. My most recent projects were writing and copyediting a book on the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, and a Survival Guide to the Healthcare System in Vienna, Austria.
I run a successful freelance editing and writing business, as well as offering coaching to first-time writers. My work ranges from editing literary fiction, corporate publishing, non-fiction books, and ghostwriting. I really enjoy helping new writers take their projects from the idea stage to finished book. Learning how to structure a book, manage your writing time, get the draft down are big skills that take time, patience and discipline but are very exciting to develop.
Being a published writer and professional editor allows me to understand what the writer is trying to achieve while at the same time having the goal to create a finished product that will attract readers. I have worked on endless short stories, many novels, and more recently non-fiction and corporate publishing projects. I thrive on the variety and bring a renewed energy and curiosity to every single collaboration. It is through this collaborative process that great things happen.
I operate a non-profit organization that provides a platform for writers of any genre to network, attend workshops and retreats, and learn how to promote themselves as writers.
