With over six years of experience in book production and being the co-owner and co-publisher of a multi-award winning independent publishing company, I have wide experience and knowledge in book production, particularly in typesetting and interior design. I have typeset fiction and non-fiction for a number of independent publishers (such as Charco Press, Knights Of, Saraband) and self-publishing authors.

I have typeset books across so any genres I may have lost track but they definitely include:
crime, historical fiction, contemporary fiction, sci-fi, erotica, short story collections, LGBTQ anthologies, feminist non-fiction, humour gift books, translated fiction, memoir, political affairs and more. My favourite to typeset are probably collections where some fun can be had with new stories/chapters but I'm always happy to try any and all genres!

My biggest literary claim to fame may be having worked with Man Booker shortlistee Graeme Macrae Burnet on the His Bloody Project ebook and I also typeset his first book, The Disappearance of Adèle Bedeau. I have been to the pub with him on a few occasions. He's a lovely guy.

Working with me will involve swift, detailed emails and in most circumstances, a quick turnaround, to allow as much time as possible for tweaks and perfecting your book. Testimonials from previous clients almost always include 'quick and efficient' so you won't find yourself twiddling your thumbs for too long!

Thanks for taking the time to peruse my profile, I hope we can work together. :)

It was a pleasure to work with Lara. She really laid out the book beautifully and assisted with everything I needed. She was very happy to assist me with any revisions or changes and gave me other advice, not linked to the project at hand, such as for example suggesting to me printers to use in my hometown when I inquired from her in that regard. She was very helpful and I would strongly rec...
