My work is characterised by its focus on clarity and readability, qualities which turn on the smallest of details: from the font used for page numbers to the letter spacing of small caps.

The books I design employ InDesign styles throughout. This, together with a clear, efficient workflow, means all books designed for print can be (and often are) smoothly converted into beautiful, flexible ebooks.

Since 2011 I have worked with a diverse group of clients, including Melville House, Hodder, Standout Books, Zuleika, and the literacy charity First Story.

In addition to this typesetting work, I am responsible for the design and typesetting of Structo, a biannual, Stack Award-nominated literary magazine. I am a member of both AIGA, the professional association for design, and the Independent Publishers’ Guild.

Samuel Hanna

Euan was enthusiastic about my project. He got everything done ahead of schedule and for a good price. He had a good vision of what I wanted and was able to translate it into an excellent design. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed and valued our collaboration with Euan. He was accommodating, and willing to help guide us through the self-publishing process, in addition to type-setting our book (adding graphics and doing the cover). He was a great find!!
