I'm committed to delivering value. If I write your book, you can expect me to do a deep dive and invest 10-12 months in doing it right. A book is forever; it should take a while to write! I often have a waiting list, but if your project and my skills are a great match, I'll do all I can to work with your timetable.

-2024 Project Cost Guidelines

*Full book manuscript (50,000 words and up): Rates are based on length, genre, level of research, and timetable. Quotes start at $55,000.

*Book proposal (summary, outline, comp works, marketing summary, sample chapter, query letter, and agent list). Quotes start at $15,000.

*Short form writing. I've written blogs, op-eds, speeches, scripts, stakeholder letters, grant applications, book blurbs, interview notes, and even VIP thank-you notes for happy clients. Quotes start at $1.25/word.

*Need a developmental edit? Not sure exactly what you need? I charge $2000 for 16-hour blocks of consulting time. We can accomplish a lot together in 16 hours of review, revision, and strategizing.
