"Coming across Bryony was equivalent to discovering gold. I knew immediately that she was the right woman for my book. She loves what she does and genuinely cares about the books she works on. She is professional, honest, and has incredible attention to detail. My book explores some difficult subject matter, and I needed someone who I could trust to be supportive but also tough where needed. Bryony played this role with such grace and I'm so grateful. Bryony is a creative guardian angel, and I can't recommend her enough." Hedley Galt, Author
"Bryony made my life substantially easier when she was helping me put together my book. The project started as hundreds of pages of interview text, which she somehow managed to make sense of and pull into an actual book. It was an unenviable task, and without a doubt, I could not have done it without her. In addition to producing good work, Bryony was an absolute joy to work with. She was extremely easy-going and flexible, as well as very conscious of deadlines. I would not hesitate to work with her again, and that speaks for itself." Shivani Parmar, Author & Olympic Photographer
Bryony's writing career began as the co-author of a number of celebrity biographies with Lucy Ellis, published by Random House, Virgin Books, Aurum Press, Ebury Press, Omnibus Press, Music Sales, Hannibal, Birmar, and Heel Verlag. Together they have been called "professional storytellers" by The Guardian, "very professional" by Film Review, "immensely readable" by The Beat Goes On, "detailed" by Sunday Express, and "insightful" by OK! Magazine.
Since then, Bryony has undertaken various ghostwriting roles for private clients wishing to record their memoirs. Absolute confidentiality is guaranteed and as such the identities of her clients are not publicised, but as a rough guide she has written for personalities connected to the professional worlds of music and sport, and covered subjects ranging from anorexia to addiction and abuse.
Bryony also works with industry experts looking to publish how-to books in genres including pregnancy and parenting, career development, health, fitness and wellbeing, and interior design. Additionally, she is well versed in turning a series of diary extracts, blogs or interviews into a carefully structured book, exploring topical themes or chronology as appropriate.
Every project is unique, and the term 'ghostwriting' often has a different meaning to different authors. If you already have a manuscript that is in need of a little love and attention, please note Bryony has a separate listing as an editor on Reedsy where you can view reviews and Amazon links to forty other books on which she has collaborated.
