Overview
I've spent my life telling good stories--I've been a journalist for 20 years and have written more than a dozen books for children and adults. As a journalist, I've written more than 10,000 news articles and magazine features for outlets including The New York Post, People, Yahoo! and Condé Nast Publications. But my passion lies in writing for kids--middle grade fiction and young adult stories are my jam. I've written 10 middle grade fiction books, 3 of those with Penguin Random House. I was raised on books by Judy Blume and Beverly Cleary, books which to this day are still the light that stokes my fire to write for young readers.
I'm also a certified yoga teacher and teach kids yoga classes where I take my little yogis on adventures based on stories and characters I've developed. I've also created yoga books, games and stickers for kids to accompany my stories. Creating stories full of vibrant characters and immersive worlds where readers can explore, imagine and laugh gives me life, and I love creating these types of stories with my clients.
