Overview
I have been working in the publishing industry as a freelance ever since the end of my studies, collaborating with literary agencies, publishing houses and authors, My academic background is in the field of Humanities, and specifically I studied the Ptolemaic Epigram and the work of Posidippus of Pella. I completed my studies with an MA in Publishing from UCL, and I worked in London for two years, mostly assessing manuscripts and helping the editor in chief of a local agency with desk editing, translations and copywriting. Back to Italy, I kept working for different agencies and publishers, particularly in the field of children's literature. I have worked on the Italian translations of the latest books from authors such as James Patterson, David Almond, Philip Pullman, Lemony Snicket, J.K. Rowling and many others. Some of them, I translated personally: Snicket's "The Dark", Rowling's "The Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac", Patterson's "Minerva Keen's Detective Club". Thanks to my experience, I am well capable to both translate texts myself and to revision texts translated by others. Moreover, having evaluated hundreds of manuscripts for children, I can help authors to understand what their books need in order to succeed in the market.

I have been translating books and copy for several years, both for publishing houses and other clients. Meanwhile, I have spent even more time assessing translations from English and Spanish into Italian, especially within the field of children's and young adult literature. I am specialised in the Wizarding World, as I have been involved in the revision and review of all the Italian editions of Harry Potter and related works from 2016 afterwards. I have personally translated the "Harry Potter Wizarding Almanac" and most of the previously unreleased material in the new illustrated editions (Jim Kay, Emily Gravett, MinaLima...), as well as reviewing "From the Wizarding Archive".
